part number?

1. High speed switch, used for Gigabit Ethernet rgmii or PCIe 1-to-2 channel switching.

2 camera deserializer (for electronic rearview mirror): 2m * 2 channels + 1m * 1 channel input, output interface has 2 channels of Mipi and 1 channel of bt656; Similar to maxim (1 max96722) or (2 max96714f + 1 max96706) or (1 max96718f + 1 max96706)

3 display screen serializer: input - 2-way Mipi or 4-way LVDS, output 2-way gmsl (standard configuration, 1-way 1920 * 1080 + 1-way 1920 * 720) or 4-way gmsl (high configuration, 2-way 1920 * 1080 + 1-way 1920 * 720 + 1-way 1280 * 800), please recommend appropriate devices

4 display screen serializer: input - 2-way Mipi or 4-way LVDS, output 3-way gmsl (2-way 1920 * 720 + 1-way 1280 * 720). Please recommend appropriate devices

  • Hi Kevin,

    Thank you for your questions!

I cannot comment on the high speed switch solution. Please refer to TI's ethernet forum for help with that part.

It looks like you are looking for FPD-link solutions for a camera system and 2 display systems. Is that correct?

    Camera System:

    2m * 2 channels + 1m * 1 channel input

What PCLK is your camera system? My first consideration is to make sure that the serializer supports the PCLK of the Camera

output interface has 2 channels of Mipi and 1 channel of bt656

By channels are you referring to the use of MIPI virtual channels? Additionally are you looking to ysplit/ daisy chain/ or p2p for each display?

    Display System 1:

My first consideration is to make sure that the serializer supports the PCLK of your head unit SOC. What is the PCLK of your SOC?

    input - 2-way Mipi or 4-way LVDS

By 2 way/4 way do you mean input ports or channels/data lanes? Are you sending 4 LVDS inputs or 1 input using 4 data lanes?

    output 2-way gmsl (standard configuration, 1-way 1920 * 1080 + 1-way 1920 * 720) or 4-way gmsl (high configuration, 2-way 1920 * 1080 + 1-way 1920 * 720 + 1-way 1280 * 800)

Do you have a block diagram of your system setup? Are you trying to ysplit or daisy chain to these displays?

    Display System 2:

Again, please provide the PCLK of your head unit.

    input - 2-way Mipi or 4-way LVDS

Again, please explain your system setup. Are you sending 4 LVDS inputs or 1 input using 4 data lanes?

    output 3-way gmsl (2-way 1920 * 720 + 1-way 1280 * 720)

Again, a block diagram would be useful. Are you trying to daisy chain or ysplit to output to these displays?

    Respectfully,

    William Yi
