Noticed that the 94x products have the one lane or two lanes, why 953 only have one lane, why is not a two lanes part?

Hi David,

The 94x products and the 953 are from different product families. The 94x products belong to IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) and the 953 belongs to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).

Hi Darrah,

Different product families from management perspective. Why not create a two lane ADAS part? Is there any needs or any design challenge for the two lane ADAS part?

Hi David,

The ADAS product family are designed to work primarily in Driver Assistance applications and pair with devices such as sensors or cameras, while IVI products are used primarily with displays. The two product families have different uses/functionalities and communicate with different devices, which results in different designs.
