ALP: Analog Launchpad software suddenly running slow - suggestions?

Hi Team,

I have a customer that is experiencing some issues with ALP GUI suddenly running very slow on their windows PC, taking a long time to respond to every click.   
Do we have any support that can help here - or is this something that has been seen previously where we have some suggestions that may help?

"Analog LaunchPAD v1.57.0010 is running very slow on my Windows 10 computer. Do you have any information on solving this kind of issues?
Every single click needs about 30 seconds at my side. I think the last time when I used this software over 3 months ago, there was no issue."

    Thank you for your question! 

    Hmm, the newest version of ALP should be running fine on Windows 10 without any hiccups. This is really hard to say what the issue is. If you can forward these questions below and ask for more context related to this issue, it may give us some clarity regarding this issue.

    Have they tried to uninstall and reinstall the ALP software? This would be the quickest solution.

    How often/when does it slow down? What parameters/conditions are causing it to slow down?

    Does it slow down only when connected to a specific device? ie. is it a hardware communication related issue?

    As it was working fine previously before, has anything in regard to the computer changed in the past few months?

    Are they running multiple programs at once? The computer's memory could be potentially bogged down by other programs.

    Again, this is really hard to pinpoint what could be causing this issue. A quick search through E2E is not showing any similar questions.
