DS90UB933-Q1: remote GPIO function is not available when 933 pair with 936

Hi Expert,

Our customer use 933 and 936. I see in 936 datasheet as below. And I want to double confirm that, is it true that remote GPIO function is not available when 933 pair with 936, no matter which direction? Thanks.

    Hi Elec,

    The datasheet is correct, the DS90UB933-Q1 serializer GPOs cannot be configured as inputs for remote communication with the deserializer. However, the GPOs can be configured to be the outputs for input signals coming from the deserializer. Remote GPIO function is available only over the backchannel.
