I'm a beginner studying this field. And please understand that it might be awkward because my mother tongue is not English.
1. Important: Required register configuration for 1000 Mbps Media Converter mode: - Write 0x1FFC to register 0x01EC (set bit [0] to 0)
- The 0x01EC register could not be found by looking up the datasheet.
2. After configuring register 0x01DF, perform the following operations.
• Write 0x1140 to register 0x0000
• Write 0x5048 to register 0x0010
• Write 0x1140 to register 0x0C00 9 <-- What is 9 here? I couldn't find 9 anywhere.
- In Question 1, only says to write 0x1FFC in the 0x01EC register, but it also says to write for 0x0000, 0x00100x0c009.
Should I write of all four registers? Or do I just have to write it down on 0x01EC?
3. If I set the pin according to the strap table, does the media converter function work without writing down the register value?
