Could you please tell me why we have go-to-sleep mode? My customer wondering whether they can skip this mode, so they want to know what the necessity of this mode is?

The only difference between go-to-sleep mode and sleep mode is that the INH output is high. Assuming that INH is used to control the MCU's power supply, this allows the MCU to clean up before it is shut down.

Clemens is correct, and no you cannot skip this mode when transitioning into sleep mode. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
