Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM2906C, , PCM2903C, PCM2902C, TPS2044
Hi,
A custom board is configured using TUSB2036 and PCM2906C. When connecting to the USB port of the PC, the message "The power of the USB HUB is insufficient" appears and the connection cannot be made.
Could it be because I'm using Bus Powered's PCM2906C? (Should I use PCM2903C?)
By the way, when TUSB2036 was operated in BUS POWERED mode, PCM2906C was recognized. Certainly if I configure it like this, the USB will tell the HOST that it doesn't draw current from VBUS, so I don't think I'll get an error message.
The PCM2906C connected to the TUSB2036 is a BUS Powered device, but would it be possible to avoid this problem by using a PCM2902C or PCM2903C that is not?
The power switch TPS2044 is not used because there are devices that are built-in and always connected on the same board (USB CODEC PCM2906C and USB-UART conversion CP2101), so the 5V of VBUS is used as it is. .
I'm sorry that the explanation is difficult to understand because there is no circuit diagram. If you need a schematic, I can provide it in a private message.
Thanks,
Astro
