We would like to evaluate the TPD6S300. But we can’t evaluate.

Could you please let us how to set us based on following evaluation?

Evaluation:

We would like to evaluate the electrostatic suppression effect of the evaluation board by performing electrostatic discharge to a PC in this connection state and seeing whether or not a malfunction occurs in the Type-C connection.

Hi Kevin-san,

We already checked the User guide and we set as attached.

But PC doesn't recognize the EVM. Could you please let us know

(DC stabilized power supply photo shows 3.2V, but adjusted to 3.3V, Type-C PD 65W Adapter, EVM, PC)

Hi Seiya-san,

Thanks for the update!

Can you please check that the two resistors R2 and R3 are removed from the board?

The resistors short the CC1 and CC2 pins to the RPD_G1 and RPD_G2 pins. Removing these two resistors should hopefully resolve the laptop not detecting the charger.
