Dear Support,

Could you confirm if our ONET4291PA and ONET8501P + Laser Driver ONET1151L are recommended for a 1.25Gbps Ethernet transmission (direct modulation, using a DFB or FP Laser)?

    Greetings,

    You should be able to use parts you noted for 1.25Gbps operation. Alternatively, you can consider ONET4201LD or ONET4211LD laser drivers. These two devices are targeted for lower data rate as well with lower power consumption  - provided these two parts meet your other requirements.
