DS90UB941AS-Q1: CRC ERROR INCREASE WHITHOUT ANY DATA

Hi team,

My customer is using the 941 device in collaboration with the 948 and got high number of CRC error when no video data has been transfer during no lock.

otherwise during lock everything is fine.

    Hello Kamal,

    The CRC error counter for the FPD-Link channel is only valid when the SER/DES are linked. If there is no connection between SER/DES or one side is powered down then these registers will not give meaningful information. The recommendation is to clear the CRC error count after initial LOCK as well to ensure an accurate error count
