DS90UB960-Q1: Pattern Generator testing

Hi,

I configure DS90UB960 in imx8qm custom hardware having  Linux ,I am able to configure the 960 and able to run the pattern generator script as per in user manual but can't see the pattern in display. How can I launch this pattern generator output in hdmi display.

    Hello Anjali,

    There is a code example in the 960 that will enable PATGEN on the 960. You also need to make sure to enable the TX Port on the 960 deserializer. First select a TX Port to write to in register 0x32 and then set the CSI_ENABLE bit in register 0x33.

    An example script for PATGEN is in Section 7.5.12.4 Code Example for Pattern Generator in the 960 datasheet.
