HI All,
We have used USB hub controller (TUSB8043RGCT) in our design. According to the design, we have connected the upstream to Host processor and Down stream(USB 3.0) Port 1 is connected to LTE module and Downstream(USB 3.0) Port 2 is connected to Type C. When we test the LTE module (Port 1), it fails 3 out of 10 times . Thus, we decided to test the LTE module in the below conditions listed as follows:
1. We tested the LTE module in the DEV kit to recreate the issue but we could not see the issue with the LTE module.
2. We also didn’t face any issues when we test the LTE module on another board that does not have a HUB controller where USB 3.0 is directly connected to the host processor.
Could you please help us to find the root cause and resolve the issue?
