PCF8574: multiple pcf8574 problem

I am using two pcf9574. one ic is configured as input and another one for output.

but sometimes conflict happens between two ic.

can you provide any reference schematics for multiple ic interfacing?

Please let me know any solution

What exactly do you mean with "conflict"? Some I²C problem? Are you connecting the I/O pins of the two devices together?

one ic acts as input and another acts as output.

if I press any button on one pcf8574, random pins are in the output pcf8574 getting disturbed.
