I am using three DP838367CS PHYs on a product. With the exception of the address straps, all strapping resistors are configured identically for all three PHYs.
LED_2 (pin 45) is in strap mode 1
LED_1 (pin 46) is in strap mode 1
LED_0 (pin 47) was in strap mode 2, but I have removed the 10k pull-up and 2.49k pull-down so that it is also set up as strap mode 1.
The first attached waveform shows that when the PHY is in reset, LED_1 and LED_0 are held low, as expected, but LED_2 is pulled to ~2V. As soon as the PHY comes out of reset, LED_2 is pulled to 3.3V. Some time after the reset is deasserted, LED_0 and LED_1 are also pulled to 3.3V (second attached waveform). No cables are connected to the RJ45 ports so there is no link established or activity. Based Section 8.5.2 of the datasheet, I am expecting to see the LED drivers configured as active high for strap modes 1, 2 or 3. However, all of the LEDs appear to be active low.
