To summarize efforts: I received programmer software, and after some repairs, it started working. But there is a problem: I have 64k EEPROM, which requires a 2-byte memory address to write, and the programmer (or hub itself) gives only a 1-byte address. Is it possible to change this behaviour, or must I change the memory for another one?

The TUSB8020B requires 1-byte addressing. Below is a list of recommended EEPROM.
