Simple receiver and transmitter TFP 403 and TFP 410

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TFP410, TFP403

Hello all,

I have designed FPGA board with TFP410 and TFP403. I have simple test with my computer. From computer to TFP403, I receive data 24-bit RGB, data clk, vsync, hsync and data enable. I just simple connect the receiver and transmitter TFP410. In transmitter, I set up single-ended rising edge, 1 pixel/clk, data de-skew with CTL1,2,3 = 0. The clk_n of 410 is GND, the clk_p of 410 is connected with data clk of 403. But my monitor can not display. Were I wrong in somewhere ? Can you help me ?

  • Hello,

    What do you mean by "clk_p of 410 is connected with data clk of 403"...?

    The TFP410 has 2 clock inputs (IDCK+ and IDCK-), and 2 clock outputs (TXC+ and TXC-).

    You can select the input clock source of the TFP410 to be a differential or single ended clock, but the clock output is always differential, which is connected to the TFP403.

    Can you share your schematics to have a better understanding.

    Is your setup as follows:

    Host----> TFP410 ----> TFP403 ----> Monitor

    Regards.
