My customer has the questions as follow:
When do the crystal start to oscillate?
Do the crystal oscillate when the host is detected? Or is it irrelevant to the host detection?
I have two test boards,
One of them: crystal starts to oscillate after detecting the host, and can communicate with the host normally.
The other one: crystal starts to oscillate before the host is detected, and cannot communicate with the host.
Can you tell me the reason for the crystal oscillate before the host is detected?
