This bit has no function hence you can ignore it!
It get set when there are data errors that effect video from our cameras . I think it could be a clue that could help us solve our issue..

actually the original function of this bit is exactly as you said, to indicate if there are errors on the Bidirectional Control Channel, but unfortunately this indicator is not very accurate hence was not included in the data sheet and marked as reserved.
