For a 1Gbps application where the PHY communicates with a HUB,
I understand the following register values can be used to check if a Link has been established or not.
- After Autonegotiation completes look at the PHY Register:
BMSR - Bit#5 "AUTO-NEGOTIATION COMPLETE") - Confirm the Link Status by looking at the PHY Register:
BMSR - Bit#2 "LINK STATUS")
Are there any other register settings to look at or ways to confirm if the link has been established?
