Hi,
We have a test demand for test USB2.0 and USB3.0 signal speed, will let SOM enter compliance mode.
My question is, SOM to IO we use TUSB8020B as an USB hub, how to let TUSB8020B also into compliance mode?
Thanks!
Jeff

Hi, Jeff
The SOM will need to generate the commands described in the USB 2.0/3.0 specification that force the hub to send test packets on the downstream ports.
If you are using a Window system, the TEST PACKET commands can be generated using the XHCI HSETT tool from the USB.org.
Thanks

Hi David,
We have tried find command in this library, but seems all command for windows, can't find for Linux.
Do you have any other suggestion?
Thanks!
Jeff

Please see this link, https://microchipsupport.force.com/s/article/Entering-USB3-1-TX-Compliance-Mode-with-a-Linux-Host, and in particular looking at this section Linux Tool for downstream port USB3.1 TX Compliance Test Mode Entry to see if it helps.
Thanks
