Dear Team,

Our customer  developing 4K Ultra-HD IP cam. Do  we have suitable solution can support 4K  and interface as below?

CAM-->MIPI-->SRDES-->MIPI-->SOC

    Hi Jimmy,

    Devices that can support your desired resolution will depend on the full camera configuration (frames per second, horizantal/vertical pixels, etc.). If you have more details about the exact configuration, we can be more definitive, but overall our devices can support anything that is within the bandwidth and data rate of the device specifications. The 953, for example, can support 832 Mbps per lane, and using all four lanes means it can support a max throughput of 3.328 Gbps. You can calculate total throughput of the application using:

    Video Throughput = HActive x VActive x (Frame Rate) x Bits-Per-Pixel x Overhead(Assume 25% if unknown)

    If this equation returns a value less than 3.328 Gbps, the 953/954 devices would be a viable solution for the application. If the value is more than 3.328 Gbps, another device that can support a higher rate in the product line will need to be used.
