It's a first time for my customer who will consider to use this part on MD application for Type C USB.

1. How to setting TUSB321A as device?

2. What's the purpose of the CC1 and CC2 of the TUSB321AI? What are both pin communicating?

Could you offer a simple guide or step-by-step on how to design the TUSB321A? Very thanks.

1: you can setting TUSB321A as UFP as device, DFP as host, or DRP like OTG.

2: Type-C device uses CC pin to Commnication which device is DFP or UFP, current setting, Vconn.

you can search TUSB32xx device at ti.com and there are several collaterals talking about type-C application.

In the datasheet it only shows the DFP Mode schematic in Fig 4. In my customer application, it's device only. Is there UFP schematic you're able to offer?

for UFP, Port pin should be pulldown and remove vbus switch. everything else is same.
