TCA9539-Q1: will INT effective when power on

Hi Expert,

Assuming TCA9539-Q1 is just powered on and the I2C is not established yet, all I/O is default as input. If there is rising or falling edge on the port, will TCA9539-Q1 generate low signal on INT pin? Thanks

The interrupt detection logic is always active.

Please note that an interrupt might be generated due to the voltage changes that happen during power on.

Elec,

An interrupt is generated by any rising/falling edge of the port inputs when in input mode. Since device defaults on p-ports to inputs on start-up, any change rising/falling edge on the port will trigger the INT pin.
