SN65DSI86-Q1: Hot-plugging may fail when connecting to a standard DP monitor

Hi team,

I was disable ASSR function and Implemented the hot plug function.However, I found that there is a small probability after hot plug standard dp monitor cannot be displayed (no video,despite successful link training)

I see the following description in the dp specification: "The link training procedure does not necessarily take sufficient time to be able to perform a full link quality analysis. The consequence is that a connection between a DPTX and DPRX may be fully trained, but operating with marginal performance"

Is it possible that the problem of non display is caused by poor quality of the main link?If semi-automatic training has been successful(LT_PASS flag was set), Can SN65DSI86 ensure the best communication quality of the DP Main Links? If not, How can I improve the success rate of hot plug?

Hi Zach，

Thank you for your reminder，i was dumped F0-F8 status register and found LOSS_OF_DP_SYNC_LOCK_ERR is occurred，So the Main link quality seems to be OK and i fine tuned the DSI input timing and it worked.
