Hi Team,
My customer is using 947+948 and they try to write 0x11/0x01/0x09 to register 0x34 to force 948 to operate at single/auto/dual mode. However, the bit DUAL_TX_STS of register 0x1C remains zero no matter what value is written into register 0x34. Could you kindly help analyze what the problem is? What will affect bit DUAL_TX_STS actually?

As you can see with register dumped, register 0x5B of 947 are all zero meaning that 947 operates at Auto-Detect FPD-Link III mode by default.
1) 947 0x5A/0x5B when 948 is configured to operate at single link mode
0x5A shows that 947 operates at Single FPD-Link III Transmit on port 0.
The bit DUAL_TX_STS of 948 shows that 947 operates at single link mode.
This is correct.
2)947 0x5A/0x5B when 948 is configured to operate at auto mode
0x5A shows that 947 operates at Dual FPD-Link III Transmitter mode.
However, the bit DUAL_TX_STS of 948 shows that 947 operates at single link mode.
This is not correct.
3)947 0x5A/0x5B when 948 is configured to operate at dual link mode
0x5A shows that 947 operates at Dual FPD-Link III Transmitter mode.
However, the bit DUAL_TX_STS of 948 shows that 947 operates at single link mode.
This is not correct.

I've summarized customer's action on 948 and 947 and the bit DUAL_TX_STS can't accurately indicate the real TX status. Do you know what can be the possible reason? Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response. I have to clarify that the whole system works well except for bit DUAL_TX_STS.
Which errata you're referring to? Only errata #5 is related to PCLK and auto-detect feature. Actually there's no temperature change during the test.
