Hi Team,

A customer is looking for a device with an EVM that can be used as a buffer from TTL to LVDS. the signal has a 100ns pulse width at 1Hz. It is a 1PPS signal being sent from a pulse generator to a CCA that is need to translate and buffer.

Hi Marvin,

Do you have a block diagram to help narrow down the application/use case?

With the information provided, please see the reference for TTL / LVDS devices.

Please let me know if this works or if you are in fact looking for a level shifter for the application, if so please see the referenced AXC, LXC, TXU voltage translation level shifters; with the families all having EVMs, thanks.

Hi Marvin,

I'm from the comparators team but I got a notification from this post. You may want to consider TLV3604 TLV3604EVM Evaluation board | TI.com. It is a comparator, but it can be used to convert single ended inputs to LVDS.

Hi Marvin,

If the TTL signal is within the input voltage range of TLV3604 (VEE - 0.3V to VCC + 0.3V), meets the min pulse width, and < max toggle rate, I would expect that it can.
