DS90UB954-Q1: Register list in Excel format

Part Number: DS90UB954-Q1
I'm a SerDes hardware designer.
Use DS90UB953 for Serializer.
I'm thinking of using the DS90UB954 or DS90UB960 for the Deserializer.
I would like a register list to efficiently implement the register design of the three SerDes ICs.
A format that can be handled by Excel is good.
I would like the list to have information on register address, register name, bit position, bit name, bit description, read/write, and default value.
  • Hi Yamada-san,

Thank you for your inquiry. For the latest list of registers for the noted devices would be the datasheets which are contained on TI.com. For example, pages 32-65 of the DS90UB953 datasheet contain the register maps for this specific device.

With regards to the decision between the DS90UB954 and DS90UB960 for deserializer, do you have any questions here? As I'm sure you are aware, one of the primary differences is how many serializers can be supported by the deserializer. The DS90UB954 can aggregate two incoming video streams, while the DS90UB960 can aggregate four incoming video streams. If there's any additional info I can provide here please let me know!

    Best.

  • Hi Thomas,

I wanted to know if there is a register list in excel file format, thanks for kindly letting me know.
Knowing that there was no register list in Excel format allowed me to switch to looking for a way to convert from PDF to list.
It turns out that it is possible via the Word file format.

    Best regards,
