we are using THVD1520DR in our product, which works fine with the old variant of the HPL 3-ph energy meter(RS485 interface), 

But the response of the new energy meter is not recognized with our product, 

However, we can see the response waveform in the oscilloscope (with both the energy meters),

    Hi Rishav,

    To clarify the problem is that the THVD1520 is not receiving data on the new system? 

    If that is the case do you have a scope shot of the signals that are causing the issues within the application? If you could share a schematic that would be very helpful, I understand if you cannot - but if you  are able to share the RS-485 interface portion of the schematic that may be helpful in determining possible issues. 

    If it isn't that case where is the failure occurring - is it at the differential bus or is it at the single ended connection points?
