TLIN1441-Q1: Question on Vcc OV/UV protection

Part Number: TLIN1441-Q1

Hi team,

I got below questions from customer on TLIN1441-Q1. Would you pls help check?

1. Do we have any distribution of Vcc voltage and OV threshold? Because the OV threshold is 5.6V typ and 6V max, however customer use Vcc to power MCU with 5.8V max. Therefore they would like to evaluate the risk.

2. what is the respond timing for Vcc overvoltage or undervoltage? Is it mode change delay time 15us?  ( how long will it take to respond overvoltage/undervoltage and how long will it take to shut down output?) it’s better to understand if can give a timing waveform for these fault responses.

Thanks

Scarlett

  • Scarlett,

    1. How does the customer plan to output 5.8V on the VCC pin of TLIN1441-Q1? This output is regulated to 5V, so I'm curious to know how the customer plans to drive 5.8V out of this output.

    2. I'll have to check our validation data for this since it is not a specific spec, but it will be based on the internal deglitch filter for the under voltage detection.

    Regards,
