Hello Peter,
there is no 'initial code' for these devices. If your hardware strap settings (MODE, IDx) on both boards are matching then they should be plug and play.
Hi Sir,
May I have your help to review the design schematics?
Thanks.
Hello Peter,
I will review and come back to you with feedback lately by Friday, December 2nd (since next week there are holidays here in the U.S)
Hello Peter,
I have reviewed the schematics and here is my feedback to our devices:
DS90UB954 Schematic:
- It looks like that a PoC filter is used, but I can't find any PoC filter on the schematic!
- Make sure PDB pin is the last pin to be power supplied, as per section "9 Power Supply Recommendations". Also, make sure you fulfill the sequence and timing requirements as per this section.
DS90UB933 Schematic:
- VDDIO pin requires 10nF + 100nF caps.
- VDDD pin requires 10nF + 100nF caps as well (Do not share capacitors!).
- VDDPLL pin requires 10nF + 100nF + 4.7uF caps and a FB.
- VDDCML pin requires 10nF + 100nF + 22uF caps and a FB.
- VDDT pin requires 10nF + 100nF + 4.7uF caps.
