Hi Expert,

If I set 954 at CSI-2 Synchronous mode, is it necessary to use FrameSync again to synchronize several sensor? What's the difference between framesync and CSI synchronous mode? Do they achieve the same function? Thanks.

    Hello Elec,

    CSI synchronous mode means your SER and also Image sensor may run off the BC CLK sent from the DES.

    Framesync is the signal you generate in the DES internally or get from an SoC and forward over BC to the SER which will output it on one GPIO into Image sensor to start transmitting or if using two or more sensors to be sending data synchronically.
