Can this part be used to control the intensity of LEDs?

Hi Neel,

For intensity control (brightness) you would need to have pulse wave modulation (PWM).

Unfortunately this device does not have PWM control. You look at TCA6507 as a potential device.

Can you suggest a part that's a drop-in with this functionality?

I don't think we have a device that is pin to pin with the TCAL6416 device with PWM control.

Looking at the LED drivers portfolio and filtering by I2C control and PWM dimming, I get 0 results.
