Hi Team,
May I know What is the difference between DS280BR810 and DS280BR820? Thanks.

These two repeater part numbers use the same IC die. Whereas the DS280BR810 implements AC coupling caps at the package level for both Rx inputs and Tx outputs, the DS280BR820 implements AC coupling caps only on the Rx inputs (see basic block diagram below).

Hi Rodrigo,
Thanks. May I know why there need this option? Does that means if the customer downstream side receiver chip also have the AC couple cap in RX side, we need to choose 820. But if the downstream side receiver chip don't have the AC couple cap in RX side, we need to choose 810?

Hi,
We found that the signal integrity performance for DS280BR810 Tx AC coupling caps was not optimal and resulted in reduced output eye height for some channels. By implementing DS280BR820 and AC coupling caps on the host side the customer will observe some improved output eye height margin across channels.
Thanks,
