Hi Nicolas,
I am looking to see if we have any historical evidence of using these type of command passthroughs, and will try to have an answer to you by tomorrow my time.
Thanks,
Ryan
Hi Nicolas,
After doing some digging, it looks like most forms of encryption with the TUSB9261 are not compatible. Here is some information I found in some FW, and an E2E thread regarding the same thing:
//SCSI layer handles SCSI commands from USB mass storage blocks and
// translates applicable SCSI commands to SATA commands.
// Compliant to ATA8-ACS Rev 6, SBC-3 Rev 16, SPC-4 Rev 16, MMC-5 Rev 4,
// and SAT-2 Rev 9 where applicable.
Please let me know if you have other questions.
Thanks,
Ryan
Thank you for your research.
I do not have access to the link: https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface---internal/f/interface---internal-forum/131638/tusb9261-aes-encrypt-support/475804?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=TUSB9261%20encryption#475804
Do you think it is possible to send me an eval board to make a test ?
Regards,
Nicolas
Hi Nicolas,
You should be able to get a TUSB9261DEMO board from this link: https://www.ti.com/tool/TUSB9261DEMO
