TUSB4041I: TUSB4041I Four-Port USB 2.0 Hub (Docking Station)

Part Number: TUSB4041I

I am working on the design of a product that connects an Android tablet via USB to and Ethernet LAN, and other USB peripherals. This device can be thought of as a docking station for the tablet.

Please help me evaluate the:
  TUSB4041I Four-Port USB 2.0 Hub
… to ascertain whether it can be used in the design.

The block diagram for the product is here:

The goal is to be able install/use existing Android/Linux drivers on the tablet to communicate with the two CDC peripherals, and use the Ethernet LAN (via CDC-ECM device class) as if it were directly connected to the tablet.

The tablet is also being charged via USB.
LAN7500 is an example part for reference. I am open to suggestions for similar parts.

Can TUSB4041I be used in such a design?
