BQ24392: The reason for CHG_DET not detect

Hi Brian,

Thank you for reply,

Charger setting is DCP, cable name is Buffalo: BMSPA2401.

When change to Apple: A1401 (5.2V/2.4A, 12W), it was the same results.

Please refer additional information below; 

・Frequently for NG is 10% or less.

　There are many cases: sometimes, continue to occur NG, etc.

・When changed the other cable and board (A → B → A swap), it was the same results.

・Status indicator pin are not used and pullup.

Can you check CHG_AL_N and Good-bat  status when CHG_det is high or low.

Hi Brian,

Please refer attached waveform for CHG_AL_N and GOOD_BAT status below; 

As a results, these indicator were not difference, CHG_AL_N=Low: Charge is allowed and GOOD_BAT=High: A good battery.

※ch1: VBAT voltage, ch2: CHG_AL_N, ch3: CHG_AL_N, ch4: VBAT current

・OK

・NG
