DS125BR111: DS125BR111RTWR circuit verification required

Part Number: DS125BR111

Hi TI team,

The repeater DS125BR111RTWR is being used in our design and it is configured in pin mode. But our device is not being detected by HOST.

Only this re driver IC is present in between host and device. Can you please confirm whether below circuit is fine.?

  • Hi Yogishwari,

Here are my notes on your schematic:

    • Is there a reason there are no capacitors on INA+/-? I suggest placing 0.1uF caps to match the other high speed channel pins.
    • EQA1/EQB1 pins are not used in DS125BR111 design. I suggest tying to GND with 1k PD resistors.
    • 10k to GND is not an accepted pin setting for EQA0/EQB0. Refer to the following tables to set EQ level.

    • 10k to GND is not an accepted pin setting for VODA_DB/VODB_DB pins either. I suggest tying to GND with 1k PD resistors to keep the output dynamic range as large as possible (0dB) for PCIe operation.
    • I suggest using 1k PD on VDD_SEL and PWDN instead of tying directly to GND.

    Best,

    Lucas
