DS90UH948-Q1: Question : change way of LVDS_VOD_Control

Part Number: DS90UH948-Q1

I want to set more stronger voltage for LVDS_CONTROL in display module, but I don't know how, because display module is slave device to DS90UH948.

DS90Uh948 is proxy master, and MCU is slave device, so MCU could not change the register, 0x4B (LVDS_CONTROL register).

Can I ask you if you have any way to change the value, from default "00" to "11", please ?

Hi Customer,

Thank you for the question. You need to set up registers to change the value. Please refer to programing example in datasheet or this thread how to access registers.

Hi Yoda-san,

You can set up the register from MCU if MCU is the multiple master. However, since you said 948 is the proxy master and MCU is slave, it is not possible to read/write register from MCU. It is only able to set up the register from 948 side.

Can I understand that 948 side means Host MCU connected with 947 ?

Because 948's register is written by MCU connected with 947 in my unerstanding.

Is my understanding correct ?

Hi Yoda-san,

I think we need to clarify the question. I replied that when 948 is only connected to MCU on 948 output since you mentioned only 948 (proxy master) and MCU (slave device).

Now you are setting on above, your understanding is correct. You need to write the register by SoC that is connected to 947 input. (SoC - 947 - 948 - MCU)
