DS90UB960-Q1: DS90UB960-Q1: Des Register Settings & Clarification

Part Number: DS90UB960-Q1

Hi,

The TI team has proposed us to change from ub962 to ub960 for our HW build due to the long lead time and unavailability of 962.

For 962, we didn't have two CSI-2 ports but for 960 we have two CSI-2 ports (CSI-2 port 0 and CSI-2 port 1).

Can I know which all registers we need to configure to disable CSI-2 port 1.

  • Hello,

Thank you for your question. You can control RX port mapping to CSI port in register 0x20. All RX ports are set to forward to CSI-2 port 0 by default so you should not need any special configuration for this register. Additionally, register 0x33[0] controls whether CSI-2 output is enabled. The default for this register is also disabled, so you will only need to enable it for port 0. To only select port 0 to be enabled set register 0x32[0]=1 then enable output by setting 0x33[0]=1 along with any other configurations for your setup.

    Regards,

    Darrah
