TUSB1210: TUSB1210 not work properly

Part Number: TUSB1210

Hi team!

The customers are using TI's TUSB1210 USB PHY chip on their device and are experiencing some problems with it and need assistance.

The PHY chip runs in USB Device mode. While doing a test, the press keeps shutting down and turning on the USB device side to test the USB host's recognition stability of the USB devices on their devices. The reset pin of the PHY chip is pulled down and raised each time when the USB Device feature is turned off and on.

The test found that in about a day or so, the Host did not recognize our USB Device phenomenon at all. And then unplugged the USB cable, pulled down the PHY chip reset pin, and pulled up the PHY chip reset pin. None of them work. And the USB cable is plugged in, 5V is good, but the DP DM is low from beginning to end.

In view of this situation, I would like to ask the following points:

1.As customer did, they frequently pull the reset pin of the PHY chip up and down. Will it cause an anomaly in the PHY chip?

2.The USB cable of the device is connected to the host and the 5V supply is normal, but the data cable is at 0 level all the way to the end of the line. This situation may be that the PHY chip is not working properly? Or is it caused by an abnormal write error of the PHY in-chip register?

3.When the reset PHY chip and the USB cable are not recognized by Host, are  there other effective ways making PHY chip to be restored to work?

In addition, plugging in another USB device to an unrecognized USB port on the host side is working properly, and the problem can be identified on the device side.
