Hi,

For the DP8384J needs to check TX/RX the rise and fall time or setup and hold time only?

seems only "PMD output Pair" needs to checked(T2.8.1)

What do you mean by TX/RX? Do you mean TX_CLK, TX_D[3:0] and RX_CLK, RX_D[3:0]?

Hi Gokul
I want to check "AC Timing Requirements" of RX/TX & Ref CLK have rise/fall time require.

due to i find the PMD seems needs to check rise/fall time, but TX_CLK, TX_D[3:0] and RX_CLK, RX_D[3:0] no needs to check.

Timing requirements_RX/TX & Ref CLK for set/hold time only PMD output request rise/fall time

Hi Kyle,

At a system level, You have to make sure that data setup and hold times are met.

You can also measure PMD rise fall times/duty cycle, VOD, but I would say all these are optional.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

we will focus on TX_CLK, TX_D[3:0] and RX_CLK, RX_D[3:0] that to meet spec of data setup and hold times.
