SN75175: MSL Rating Level-NC-NC-NC Humidity Rating

Part Number: SN75175N

The MSL rating for SN75175N is listed as Level-NC-NC-NC. In a similar forum, I found that this means there is no moisture rating as moisture cannot ingress into the package. Would it be fair to say in other words that the relative humidity for the SN75175N has a RH of 100%? If not, what would the relative humidity for this part be?

Hi Eric,

I was wondering if you had a chance to look into my query yet. I'm hoping to figure out what the relative humidity (non-condensing) is for this part.

Aaron,

Because the SN75175N is typically mounted on a through-hold design using wave soldering, there is no MSL level defined. Typically surface mount components only have the rating through the JEDEC standard. There's more information in this application note.

Alright, that makes sense. What does this mean for the relative humidity rating for this part? Will it have issues operating in conditions of 100% humidity? Or does humidity not effect this part?
