To order TFP501, please contact TI local office. Since TFP501 supports HDCP, please purchase a HDCP license from HDMI consortium before ordering TFP501.

Does TFP501 have many difference with TFP401 on FW setting?

Our customer is Evaluate to using TFP501 for new design.

And how to get TFP501 relative documents?

The TFP401 does not need FW, it will work using the pin-strapping mode.

The TFP501 has a DDC_SCL and DDC_SDA interface which can be used to access TFP501 internal registers.

Since I can't find TFP501 datsheet, may I know the major different of TFP401 and TFP501?

My customer just wnat to know if change to TFP501 may take more efforf or not.
