Hi,

My customer is using DS90UB953-Q1 in a 2MP(1920*1080) 60fps AVM system, due to cost issue, they would like to choose a low cost version. Hence, they would like to ask if DS90UB935-Q1 can support up to 2MP(1920*1080) 60fps? Are there any potential risk for this?

Hello Manu,

You can safely replace the UB953 with a UB935 for that resolution and frame rate as long as your number of bits/pixels is not exceeding 16. i.e. if using RAW10 or RAW12, or YUV8 then this will work.
