DS90UB949A-Q1EVM: DS90UB949A-Q1:I2c error, causing the screen to go out

Part Number: DS90UB949A-Q1EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UB949A-Q1

Dear Ti :

1. I am using the ds90ub949a-q1 to light up the screen and use it to achieve screen touch. At the beginning, the screen display is normal.

However, after about 10 minutes of normal display, the screen signal will automatically disconnect.

At this time, when the 949 register is read again, no register can be read. You must restart 949 to read the value of the register again.

This is the normal 949 register

2. I hope ti can help me find out whether the register configuration is wrong, or some switches in 949 have errors.

3. Because my touch is not achieved through interruption, but through circulation, I may need to read screen registers frequently through 949. Want to know if this will affect 949?

Best Regards,

Xinyu

  • Hi Xinyu,

I will need some time to look into this. Due to US Holidays, responses may be delayed through Jan 3.

Do you have more information you can share? Are you using a custom PCB on the 948 side with the display? Any picture of the set up to share? Is the 949 an EVM and did you try the patgen function on the 949 to light up the screen or is the video coming from a different source?

Please provide as many details as you can so we can help with figuring out the issue.

    Best,

    Shu
