Hi All,

The device DP83869HM has 2 supply configuration and 3 supply configuration. Just wanted to know based on what do I choose to use either of the power supply configuration.

Does it depend on what my VDDIO is whether 3.3V or 1.8V.

Hi Prayag,

You can choose the configuration that best fits the power supply constraints of your application - the VDDIO supply voltage is independent from this choice.

May I know what is the purpose of having a 3rd power supply if 2 supplies are sufficient.

Hi Prayag,

Apologies for the delayed response due to U.S. holiday.

The 3 supply configuration is more power efficient, as the 2 supply configuration uses an additional LDO to meet the supply requirements.
