My customer use XIO2001 on their PCI-E card product. In their functional test,
1. Slot 1 with 1 USB 3.0 extentil card, Test speed is around 113MB/S
2. Slot 2 with 1 USB 3.0 card and test speed is around 85MB/S
3. Slot 1 and 2 put the same U3 card, and test speed is around 113MB/S
Customer want to know:
a. Why there's different test speed on different slot? Any setting can be modify on XIO2001? (By using performance tuning tool or review layout or?)
b. At their second slot, they set M66EN pin to GND. We're asking them to pull up that signal. Is that cause slower speed on slot 2?
c. They have a competitor board using ZGU package (They use PNP package) with better performance on slot 2. Is there any performance impact on different package?
