Hello,

We plan to use DP83869 as RGMII to 1000base-T physical interface.

I've checked into datasheet that PULSE HX5008FNL transformer is recommended. This transformer have center tap (phy side) separated from each other :

Is there any issue to use such MOLEX 937698628 RJ45 with integrated magnetic, but with center tap connected from each other : ?

I understood that common center taps connected is more used for physical interface using current mode driver.

Hi Thierry,

Please follow the guidance given in section 10.2.1.2.2.1 of the datasheet, "Each center tap on the side connected to the PHY, must be isolated from one another and connected to ground via a decoupling capacitor (0.1 µF recommended)"
