hello

May you check whether 0x5A[7] is a reliable lock indicator to downstream link partner (948)? If not, are there any other register could be used to monitor the link status with 948?

    Hello Dongbao,

    I would suggest to use register 0xC4[5] for this purpose. It is not shown in the UB947 datasheet, but if you look at the UH947 datasheet you will see this register and bit 5 works on both UB and UH devices.
