DS90UB964-Q1: 0x1F setting

Part Number: DS90UB964-Q1

hi team,

I have serval questions regarding the CSI_PLL_CTL:

1. Do you see any risk of configure 964 0x1F[1:0] to 01? In 960 register, 01 means 1.2Gbps.

2. If any concern, how to change 0x1F register on the fly? For example, change 0x1F from 0x01 to 0x00. Does SOC CSI receiver side need to adjust to match the setting? And a digital reset (0x01[0]?) of 964 is also needed?

thanks

Dongbao

  • Hi Dongbao,

    1. Do you see any risk of configure 964 0x1F[1:0] to 01? In 960 register, 01 means 1.2Gbps.

1.2 Gbps is not allowed on the 964, hence why it is reserved. We do not recommend configuring it to this setting.

    2. If any concern, how to change 0x1F register on the fly? For example, change 0x1F from 0x01 to 0x00. Does SOC CSI receiver side need to adjust to match the setting? And a digital reset (0x01[0]?) of 964 is also needed?

Again, please avoid configuring 0x1F to 0x01 since this configuration is reserved. If you want to reconfigure 0x1F, we recommend that you do so before enabling CSI forwarding (FWD_CTL1 register 0x20). The setting you choose for 0x1F needs to align with what your SOC is set to.

    Regards,
